Search

Find any Droplet with the ⌘K palette. Free-text fuzzy match plus operators for owner, Space, tag, type, and date.

Hit ⌘K from anywhere in Drop and the header palette opens. Type a query — Drop matches against Droplet names, descriptions, and the extracted text content of every published version. The palette is the single front door for finding anything: Droplets, Spaces, tags, even People.

Results are typo-tolerant — complience finds compliance — and ranked by relevance. Exact name matches rank first, then partial matches, then body-content matches by similarity score.

Free-text search

Type any keywords. The palette streams results as you type.

Operators

Operators narrow the result set. Type them inline; the palette parses them as you go and the operator chip turns coral when it's been accepted.

Where else search shows up

  • ⌘K global palette — every authenticated page. The same palette finds Docs concepts (this very page) under their own section.
  • The dedicated /search page — opens when you press Enter from the palette or when you want a paginated full-results view with filter chips.
  • Inside the Drop Bar on a Droplet — ⌘K from /view/{slug} opens the same global palette (bridged across the iframe).

Quick tips

  • The palette remembers your last few queries (per-browser).
  • Prefix a query with > to scope to Spaces instead of Droplets.
  • Prefix with # to scope to tags.
  • Prefix with @ to scope to people.
  • Inside an operator value (e.g. typing from:dyl): Tab adds the top suggestion as a chip — the autocomplete shortcut. Enter submits the search with whatever you've composed (chips + the partial). Arrow down to pick a non-top row, then Enter commits that row.

What to read next

  • Droplets — the things you're searching for
  • Spaces — group results live inside Spaces
  • User Groups — @group mentions in access lists pair well with search
